This privacy policy governs your use of the software application’s developed by Polemics Applications LLC (“Application” or “The Application”) for mobile devices. Our Applications feature educational reference material and/or utilities in filling out forms for storage and transmission of personal data.
What information does our Applications obtain and how is it used? User Provided Information
Some applications obtain the information you provide when you download and use the Application’s features. We never use your information for purposes other than the functions of the application. We never transmit or disseminate your information. Your information, if entered into the app only stays within the current device. Some apps feature an in app email for you to transmit documents made from within the app. We do not collect your email information or any content of the app generated email.
Most apps have an in app email feedback feature for you to send us comments and questions. We do not collect or store your email when sending us feedback for any purpose other than receiving your communication. We may only use your email in response to a technical request for help.
Some apps have an in app mailing list subscription. If you submit your email to subscribe to our newsletter we will send a confirmation opt-in email. Each email to you thereafter will have an unsubscribe feature to opt out. We do not sell or share out mailing list participants with any other company or entity.
Automatically Collected Information
Our apps do not automatically collect any information. (Inclusive of any data, IPs, geographic location)
Does the Application collect precise real time location information of the device?
Our Applications do not collect any information about the location of your mobile device. Some applications have a geolocation map feature but this information is strictly contained within the app and is destroyed when the app is not in use.
Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?
We do not allow third parties to access information obtained by the application.
What are my opt-out rights?
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling the Application. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
For our mailing list you may opt out through any edition of the list. You can also request to opt- out via email, at info@polemicsacademy.com
Data Retention Policy, Managing Your Information
The applications will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. We do not retain any information from any of our applications other than mailing list opt-in requests.
Children
We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with information without their consent, he or she should contact us at polemicsapp@yahoo.com. We will delete such information from our files within a reasonable time.
Security
We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. Our mailing list is safeguarded through MailChip with a standard username and password protection. Only authorized Employees of Polemics Applications have access to the mailing list credentials.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. We will notify you of any changes to our Privacy Policy by posting the new Privacy Policy here and informing you via email or text message. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes. The history of this privacy policy is recorded at the bottom as a change log.
Your Consent
By using the Application, you are consenting to the app processing your user driven information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us. “Processing,” means using information from within the app, using or touching information in any way, including, but not limited to, collecting, storing, deleting, using, and combining information, all of which activities will take place in the hardware device the app is installed on.
Application Specific Modifications to this Policy
Invisible Grave. Invisible Grave uses Google Firebase to store and retrieve profile information and user generated data. All data associated uses Google Firebase standard encryption and least privilege security features.
